My name is Noelle Britte and I am a new teacher in the Davis County School District. I am endorsed to teach both English and French in secondary schools and look forward to sharing my passion for both subjects with students.I am a native of Davis county myself, graduating from Viewmont High School in 1987. My children attend Davis County schools, so I am very comfortable here. After living for about 18 months in France in the early 1990's, I developed a lasting love for the language and culture. Upon my return I earned a Bachelors Degree in French Literature with a minor in English from the University of Utah in 1994. After graduating, I found a job in human resources where I was able to use my French on a daily basis on a professional level. It was at this job where I met my husband, a Belgian native, and have been lucky enough to use my French on a personal level as well. We now have 3 children, one in high school, one in junior high school and one in elementary school. After 22 years in my human resource career, I decided to follow my passion and become a teacher. There are many reasons why, but I am mainly driven by my desire to expose students to the concept of foreign language and my love of good literature.I received the equivalent of Bachelors Degree in English and earned my Masters of Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix in 2015. I have also completed the most recent training in foreign language methods for teachers from Weber State University.
